Noida people are all geared for Independence Day celebrations. every year the traditional flag hoisting takes place at the administrative offices, schools, colleges, Housing societies, hospitals, factories and other official and commercial buildings. However, this year certain events are lined up around the Independence Day weekend for you to revel in the Independence Day celebrations.
1. Independence Day Cup
An Inter Society Cricket Tournament will be held during Independence Day weekend. The Independence Day Cup would see participation by various societies in Noida including Gaur Grandeur, Prateek Laurel, Amrapali Zodiac, Amrapali Platinum, Eldeco, RG, Sec 122, Homes 121. The tournament, hopefully, would be more than cricket with a get together planned for Independence Day celebrations. The Chief Guest would be a prominent person from the higher level of administration. A meeting is also in the offing to apprise the Noida Authority officials of the pertinent issues of sewerage, security, light, water logging in the residential sectors.

2. Vande Matram - A Pre Independence Day Celebrations
